Low Modulus Belts

This is a stretchable V-ribbed belt also known as a stretch belt.

With standard V-ribbed belts, tension pulleys are required to apply tension to the belt, but with low modulus belts, the use of a Tensile cord with a low elastic modulus makes tension pulleys unnecessary, making it possible to make the system lightweight and space-saving.

Features

Since there is no need to apply tension after the belt is installed, tension pulleys and brackets are not required.
For a 660cc engine, it is approximately 1.5kg lighter, contributing to improved fuel efficiency.
